The love of God turns us away from everything that is unlike Him and draws us closer to Him.
That quiet caution rising within you against a wrong action or harmful behavior is not random. It may be the Lord drawing your heart back toward Him—reminding you of who you are and to whom you belong.
Scripture declares:
“Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: ‘The Lord knows those who are His,’ and, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity.’”
— 2 Timothy 2:19
You Are Known by God
We are not lost people wandering the earth without purpose. God formed and created each of us with intention. Before you were born, you were already known by Him.
“This is what the Lord says—
He who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,
Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.”
— Isaiah 44:2
Being chosen and known by God assures us that we are neither useless nor worthless, neither unloved nor unworthy.
God Himself took the time to create you and to know you fully. He sees your daily walk and every struggle, and He continues to call you toward Him.
He Is Calling You Home
Like a shepherd seeking a lost sheep, God does not come after you to harm you.
He comes ready to embrace you, cover you, lift you up, and deliver you out of danger into safety, shelter, and love.
He says in Jeremiah 1:5:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Created With Purpose
Think of a job vacancy that receives many applicants, yet only one person is truly qualified and receives the position.
In a far greater way, God knew you before your beginning. You were created intentionally, known personally, and given a purpose.
As you seek to know God, you begin to discover more clearly the purpose He has placed within your life.
So know this with certainty:
You are known.
You are chosen.
You are loved.
You have purpose.
You are sought after and highly valued by God, the Creator of all things.
May God bless you this day and every day. May you draw nearer to Him, hear His voice more clearly, and have the courage to turn toward Him whenever He calls.
